In the aftermath of Covid, more of our partners are struggling to come up with funding for much needed training in their corners of the world; from Chad to Papua New Guinea the demand is great.
The Treasure Principle by Randy Alcorn, lays out the following principles for giving:
- God owns everything, I’m His money manager.
- My heart always goes where I put God’s money.
- Heaven, not earth, is my home.
- I should not live for the dot but for the line; (the dot being life on earth, the line is eternity)
- Giving is the only antidote for materialism.
- God prospers me not to raise my standard of living but my standard of giving.
Our vision is to empower national believers with a skill that allows them to take God’s name and His renown to the very ends of the earth. The first half of this year we have trained Jesus followers in four countries to do just that with dental hygiene, oral health, dental extractions, vision, cavity arrestors and sewing skills. These believers now have the means to support themselves as well as new opportunities to share the gospel as they serve others.
We want to do more and we need your help. As God’s money managers, let’s use His money to increase the number of believers we are able to train in the second half of 2023.
